The 74th Conference of the ILA in August 2010 will be hosted by the Netherlands Society for International Law to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The International Colloquium is organised by the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law (www.swansea.ac.uk/law/istl) and convenes an expert international forum to examine emerging issues and unresolved questions in the law of the sea. The Colloquium willaddress the regulatory implications to international shipping from a host of contemporary uses of the oceans. The event is CPD accredited for solicitors and barristers.

The Sixth ABLOS Conference is scheduled for October 25-27, 2010, at the International Hydrographic Bureau in Monaco. This meeting will again gather specialists from a variety of disciplines tto discuss challenges that arise in the application of marine science and technology while taking into account the juridical requirements of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
