The American Branch of the International Law Association is cosponsoring the 2010 Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences National Conference (AESS) on June 17-20, 2010. The theme for the 2010 AESS Conference is "Many Shades of Green." The Conference will be held at the Lewis & Clark College campus, 0615 S.W. Palatine Hill Road, Portland, Oregon 97219. Conference highlights include field trips and workshops on Thursday, June 17th; opening plenary and a keynote address by Julian Agyeman on Thursday evening (open to the public), with additional keynote speeches Friday and Saturday by ecologist Terry Chapin and writer Mike Davis; academic presentation, panel, and poster sessions on Friday and Saturday; an environmental art exhibition opening Friday afternoon (organized with Orlo.org); and integrative sessions and roundtables on Sunday morning.
