Development and Adoption of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Humanity

The Committee examines the development and adoption of a Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Humanity. Its work builds on previous research undertaken by a mirror committee of the American Branch and contributes to the ongoing work of the International Law Commission and the Sixth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly. The Committee seeks to support the progressive development of international law in this important area.
