82nd Biennial International Law Conference Vienna 2026

The 82nd Biennial International Law Conference of the International Law Association is being organised by the ILA Austrian Branch and will take place in Vienna, Austria, from 17–21 August 2026.

The theme of the conference is "Contours of International Law: Encounters and Evolutions". The programme covers a wide range of topics, including Reports and Resolutions from ILA Committees and Study Groups, as well as a series of parallel panel sessions where key issues affecting the status of international law will be discussed. A full Conference Report will be published in 2027.
