Call for Papers: International Law Conference on "International Lawyers and Human Dignity on the 80th anniversary of the promulgation of Italian Racial Laws"
The School of Law of University of Padova (Italy) has organized an International Law Conference on "International Lawyers and Human Dignity on the 80th anniversary of the promulgation of Italian Racial Laws", which will be held in Padova on 23 and 24 November 2018.
Accordingly, a Call for Papers has been issued open to international law scholars (excluding PhD students/candidate) on the following topics:
1. Traditional forms of discrimination (e.g. racial, religious, gender) or new forms of discrimination (mainly economic);
2. Historical revisionism or denialism;
3. Migrant flows
TIMELINEThe deadline for the submission of abstracts is 30 June 2018. Successful applicants will be informed by 15 July 2018. The deadline for the submission of the papers of accepted abstracts for the International Conference is 30 October 2018. Papers will be circulated among discussants. The deadline for the submission of final papers for publication will be communicated later.
VENUE, ACCOMODATION AND TRAVEL COSTS
The Conference will take place at the Law School of the University of Padua. Travel expenses and accommodation in Padova for two nights will be provided by the Organization.
