Dr Peter van Krieken

We are very sad to announce that Dr Peter van Krieken, Treasurer of the Netherlands Branch died from pancreatic cancer on 22 May.  He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Lord Mance (Chair of the ILA) wrote:

"Peter's supportive, philosophical, lightly humorous and charming touch was coupled with a sure ability to guide the Netherlands branch's finances.  I personally always greatly enjoyed the meetings and talks we had together in connection with the ILA – whether in The Hague, Sofia or Washington or at Executive Council reunions. We all owe him a large debt of gratitude for his support and friendship and it will not be forgotten. The ILA as a whole and I personally extend to all Peter’s family our deepest sympathy at this very sad time".
