Professor Surya Subedi is appointed an Honorary Queen's Counsel (QC)
Her Majesty the Queen of the UK has appointed Professor Surya P. Subedi an Honorary Queen's Counsel (QC) in recognition of his contribution to the development of international law and to the advancement of human rights. The announcement was made on 12 January 2017 by the British Government in London and the web-link to the announcement is as follows.
Professor Subedi is a member of the Executive Council of the ILA and Chairman of the Board of Editors of the Asian Journal of International Law published by Cambridge University Press. He is currently Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds and a member of Three Stone Chambers, Lincoln's Inn, London.
