2025 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS


The Dean of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University invites nominations for the 2025 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy. 

The Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy has a distinguished history since 1979 shaped by progress in the field of environmental law and policy and is the most prestigious award of its kind. The award recognizes the innovation, skill, and accomplishments of lawyers, diplomats, international civil servants and other advocates who work to create the world environmental order. Laureates are selected annually by a jury that includes environmental law experts and advocates from across the globe. Recent notable Laureates include Ambassador Rena Lee (Singapore) 

Kristina Maria Gjerde (USA), Ambassadors Marja Lehto (Finland) and Marie Jacobsson (Sweden), Vanessa Nakate (Uganda) and Professor Wang Xi (China).

Please assist the jury by nominating outstanding recipients for the 2025 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy. Nominations may be submitted for an individual or for a government or intergovernmental organization, an Indigenous peoples' organization, or a non-governmental organization.
